Dave Skattum Interviewed About His Book on Amazon “The 4 Pillars of Men’s Health” Teaching About Nutrition, Exercise, Mindset, and Spirituality

After experiencing life-changing events in his late 40s, Dave decided to make drastic changes for the sake of his health. Among the more notable changes, Dave lost 70 pounds, weaned himself off junk food, learned to appreciate and even enjoy healthy, nutritious foods, and began participating in triathlons and Ultra-Trail running. Additionally, Dave addressed changes he needed to make in his mindset and spirituality in ways that truly changed his world and how we saw the world.

After achieving success in these things, Dave felt a burning need to help other men in similar situations retake control over their own health. Dave warns that this was not an overnight process, going on to say, “It took me 10 years to go from where he was to where he could go out and actually run and do these activities.” The real key, according to Dave is for men to do activities that get their heart pumping and their body moving. Even gardening can be a huge improvement.

Dave believes when people begin by changing their mindsets, other changes will follow, creating an avalanche of momentum that fulfills itself. The best way to begin is with baby steps and everyone doesn’t have to go all in to achieve great things. But one does need to have all four of the pillars to create a solid foundation for rebuilding health and changing lives.

Today, Dave wears many hats, including that of a CPT, a certified Nutritarian, a distinguished Toastmaster, and a Napoleon Hill Foundation certified instructor. Men can find him online by visiting www.the4pillarsofmenshealth.com or buy his book on Amazon
