Blaise Hunter also headlined the International Woman’s Day celebration with a book signing on March 8, 2020, at Chapters Indigo West Edmonton Mall. Because of celebrating woman empowerment, Blaise was able to meet CTV’s The Social co-host, Cynthia Loyst, who was also doing a promotional event in West Ed Mall. Blaise’s Heroine Movement is a way to empower and inspire women to make their own paths in the world and breathe fire. It is about building each other up and uniting rather than fueling competition. Hunter also founded the Footprints Infertility & Pregnancy Loss Support Initiative, earning her the Cold Lake Woman of Influence Award on International Women’s Day in 2019.
An award-winning mental health advocate for women, Hunter is sought after internationally for her work as a speaker, activist, and fertility coach. She takes on vital women’s issues such as body image, self-esteem, motherhood, infertility and more.
“I am so pleased my message of empowerment is gaining momentum and women are taking steps to be the hero of their lives. This whole journey started as a step towards healing from a negative self-image and the trauma of three miscarriages but now my pain has become my purpose. I think people have been drawn to my vulnerability because it cuts through to the pulse of women’s matters and it has created a safe place for others to unmask themselves and realize they are heroines. My vision is for every young girl and grown woman to rise up and know their worth and be the change for future generations and breathe fire together,” Hunter said.
Blaise knows that the pressure to be perfect weighs heavily on women today, and she is working to help other women get out from under the weight of this pressure. She works tirelessly to help women birth their destiny and use the power of their own vulnerability to do it. With women free from this darkness, they can begin to find more meaning and follow their dreams. Blaise’s mission is to inspire women to love themselves and breathe their passion like fire by “Blaising Their Own Trail”. Blaise found her way out of the emotional prison she was living in and transformed her pain into her pearl.
